Wen-Hsuan Lin, born in 1991 in Taiwan, holds MFA from the National Taiwan University of Arts. Passionate about cross-disciplinary learning, she explores philosophy, psychology, and art.
Her work focuses on deconstructing and exploring essence, often using humor to engage viewers. Lin aims to heal through art and enhance Taiwan’s visibility on the global art stage.
She primarily uses soil as her medium, blending the spiritual and material aspects in her creations. Lin’s work has been showcased internationally, including a residency at EKWC in the Netherlands in 2023 and an exhibition at the Decorative Arts Museum in Prague in 2024. She actively participates in exhibitions across Europe and Taiwan.
In 2024, Lin joined the “Ghosts in the Foreign Project,” combining Taiwanese Taoist culture with ceramics, and co-hosted the “Feeding your Ghost: A Fictional Self-ritual” event with project leader Szu Han Lin, exploring Taiwanese culture through food. Looking ahead, Lin seeks to integrate sustainable ecology with spiritual-material connections
